Some of the Midlands' most talented high school baseball players participated in the annual Diamond Prospects Fall-Star games.
Two games were played early last week at the Lexington County Baseball Stadium. After six weeks of regular season, representatives from the 21 Diamond Prospects fall league teams took the field for some friendly competition.
The two-day event was free and open to the public, giving spectators the chance to see some of the area's best up-and-coming stars.
Athletes from six different Lexington County schools participated in the games. Lexington, Chapin, River Bluff, Irmo, White Knoll and Dutch Fork players were split among the four different teams.
Both games saw plenty of action as fans got one last chance to take in some baseball this year with winter approaching. Representatives from the Lexington County Blowfish were also on hand to help entertain and watch the potential future Blowfish players.
