Lexington Health will celebrate breast cancer survivors at the annual Women’s Night Out event planned Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the Pastides Alumni Center.
“Women’s Night Out focuses on raising awareness about breast cancer and the survivors whose courageous fight provides hope and inspiration to others,” the healthcare system said in a news release.
The event starts with a cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner, raffle drawings, a fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors and a panel featuring physicians, care navigators and families of survivors.
Tickets are $70 and can be purchased online. Attendees can buy individual tickets or a table. Learn more at LexHealth.com/WNO.
Donations at the event benefit the Crystal Smith Breast Cancer Fund, established in memory of Crystal Smith, a devoted mother and wife who shared 22 years of her life with Lexington Health.
The fund provides breast cancer patients with essential items and services, including post-surgical kits for mastectomy patients, wigs and mammograms.
Lexington Health is a comprehensive network of care that includes six community medical and urgent care centers, more than 60 physician practices, more than 9,000 healthcare professionals and Lexington Medical Center, a 607-bed teaching hospital in West Columbia.
