Roosevelt Erik Garway Jr., 23, has been charged with accessory before the fact of murder and criminal conspiracy in connection to a 2023 homicide. 

According to investigators, Allon Adams and Cady Keener shot Tony Etheredge Jr. as they attempted to rob him on Parrish Road in Leesville in December 2023. 

“Detectives have continued to interview people associated with the investigation into the shooting death of Tony Etheredge Jr.,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said in the news release. “As a result of their diligent work, they’ve determined Garway assisted Allon Adams and Cady Keener before they fatally shot Etheredge.”

Investigators said Adams and Keener discarded Etheredge’s body in Black Creek, and the body was recovered in February 2024. 

Garway is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center, while Adams and Keener were arrested in 2024 and are awaiting trial.
