Lexington PD awards Employee of the Year

Posted

Patrolman First Class Jen Klinsic was chosen by her peers as the recipient of the Art Rish - Employee of the Year award for 2018.

PFC. Klinsic has been with the Lexington Police Department 6 years.

During that time she has worked assignments within the Patrol Division and Special Operations Division. For the past 2 years she has worked with the Community Action Team.

Klinsic has continued long-standing programs while increasing the department’s involvement and partnerships with local organizations, businesses and the Town of Lexington community.

The Lexington Police Department was able to raise over $33,000 for South Carolina Special Olympics athletes thanks to Klinsic and the generosity of the Town of Lexington community.

“In all that she does, PFC. Jen Klinsic has been a great example of putting our mission of ‘Building a Partnership with the Community We Serve’ into action with the many things that she does within the Lexington Police Department and for the Town of Lexington community,” Lexington PD Chief Terrence Green said.

“It cannot be said enough on how hard she worked throughout this last year and the results speak for [themselves].”
