Publix is planning to open a GreenWise Market here.

It will be one of several new locations throughout the South, according to SuperMarket News.

At around 25,000 square feet, GreenWise Markets – similar to Fresh Market or Whole Foods stores – are aimed at customers focused on healthy lifestyles.

In addition to grocery items, the store will have a bar for drinks. It will offer smoothies, wine, kombucha (specialty tea), acai bowls, locally roasted coffee and craft beer. GreenWise stores also offer fresh cooked foods, imported cheeses, organic meats, sausage made in-store and seafood. Other items include soaps, bathroom products and natural goods.

The sections of the store include: personal care and health items, specialty foods, prepared foods, deli and beverages.
