LMC changes ER visitation policy

Lexington Medical Center has had to change its emergency department visitor policies.

No visitors will be allowed in the emergency department lobby.

Once patients receive a room assignment, 1 visitor is allowed for non-covid patients.

Parents/guardians are allowed to accompany patients under the age of 18 in the lobby.

Visitors must stay in the patient’s exam room at all times and may help settle the patient into his or her inpatient room if admitted.

Lexington Medical Center encourages all eligible individuals to receive a covid vaccine.

Lexington Medical Center’s vaccine clinic is open 7 days a week.

Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are encouraged.
