JC’s Outdoors and Prices Country Store thank the community for their support for the “All in for Mark Jr.” fundraiser. Mark Jr. has cancer. His family posted this statement on Facebook. “Gilbert America you made us proud again! You rallied around Mark Jr. and showed him what makes Gilbert the most incredible place in the world.”

GILBERT ARTIST Candance Cotterman Thibeault was featured in Palmetto Bella Magazine. The article profiles her art career in Boston and her return to Gilbert. Thibeault now works from her home art studio. Her art work is in the Rob Shaw Gallery, University of South Carolina and Columbia and Lexington restaurants. COTTON BRANCH Farm Sanctuary was featured on WIS-TV as a favorite news stories of 2020. The story was about a pig that paints pictures with his snout. Unable to use his hind legs, the pig uses a special walker. Farm employees hold canvases and the pig uses non-toxic paint to create art

BEFORE CHRISTMAS Debra Haltiwanger, Jim Ferguson, and others painted rocks and hid them in the Gilbert Community Park. Haltiwanger creates dot art rocks and Ferguson painted Christmas nativity rocks.
