Marsha Alison McCartha Jordan

Marsha Alison McCartha Jordan, 64, born on January 21, 1962, passed away on October 29, 2026, after many years of physical pain. She was the beloved wife of 35 years of Dale Patrick Jordan, residing in West Columbia, SC. She was the daughter of Charles Price McCartha (deceased) and Clarice Eargle Howell.

Marsha was a graduate of Lexington High School, Midlands Technical College, and Southern Wesleyan College. She worked in accounting at Wilbur-Smith & Assoc., the State Museum, and SC Commission on Higher Education, but her love was art. She often said if she had not had to earn a living, she would have been an artist. Her favorites places were home and all beaches, particularly Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield, and Savannah.

Surviving are her husband, Dale; step-son, Shawn Jordan (Heather); mother, Clarice “Reece;” sister and “BFF,” Janine McCartha; aunt, Merrill Leaphart; aunt and uncle, Donnelle and Scott Kavanagh; many cousins; and her many loving friends.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved niece, Chelsea McCartha; her father, Charles Price McCartha; and her grandparents, Julian and Jennie Lee Price McCartha and Clarence and Bonnie Oswald Eargle.

Memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Christopher Shealy, at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington, SC, on Saturday November 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with visitation following.
