Each year, cancer takes the lives of people we know and love. And while there is no cure for cancer today, we aren’t powerless against the disease. Through cutting-edge technology and early detection efforts, we can find cancer early when it’s more easily treated. Learn the early signs and symptoms of cancer and know when you need to get screened so you can detect it as soon as possible!

Support our McDaniels Fund the Fight campaign by donating to Lexington Medical Center Foundation on May 4 during Midlands Gives by giving online at www.midlandsgives.org/ LMCfoundation.

Your gift will help provide cancer screenings for the underserved in our community and will ensure the best screening technology is available to all our patients. Together, we can save lives and turn the tide in the fight against cancer.

If you want to personally be involved, the following will be going on through-out the day.

Here are more ways to get involved:

• Pep Rally outside Lexington Medical Park 3 from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. to cheer on our infusion patients. Signs and banners will be provided

• Get your Taco Tuesday fix at Chipotle on 2871 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia between 4:00 – 8:00 pm. A percentage of proceeds will go to support our cancer patients.
