Affordable Medical Equipment has been at 1538 Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia since 2007.

But that is going to change next year.

Affordable Medical Equipment is building a new facility at the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Botanical Parkway.

Owner Chris Carpenter said they are building a bigger facility with more display space.

“It will be really good for our customers,” said Carpenter. “We’ll be able to offer more products and display them in our new showroom.”

Carpenter said Affordable Medical Equipment has been built over the years on customer service, especially for seniors. He also said the store offers quality products at the best price. Affordable Medical Equipment also rents equipment.
