Despite the covid-19 crisis, Westminster Memory Care is optimistic about opening its doors.
The new facility is on Park Rd. at Old Cherokee Rd. in Lexington.
The community is built specifically to serve seniors with memory loss and allows them to live more independently. Construction on the building is complete, but finishing touches and landscaping are still ongoing.
The original goal of opening for family visitations by May 30 may not be feasible, but they are still optimistically doing everything they can to open on time.
A grand opening date will be announced in the coming weeks.
