Mission Lexington is collaborating with Walmart of Lexington to collect food and toys for families in need.

This event will take place Saturday, Dec. 7, 9 am-5 pm at Walmart at 5556 Sunset Blvd, Lexington.

Mission Lexington staff and volunteers will greet Walmart shoppers with a list of suggested items to help pack the food pantry in the Walmart parking lot.

“What better way to give back than to a neighbor in need?” said Mission Lexington Executive Director Robin Bowers.

Mission Lexington assistis families and individuals with life essentials, resources, and guidance.
