Saluda Broad

I read Saluda Broad’s article “Hey, is this the Cry Baby Generation?” and I do not believe that the older generations are mean and insensitive. But this generation cries over the dumbest things, and it makes the rest of us in this generation look bad. There are so many other important issues to deal with and here they are crying over what gender they really are (for one example). It is completely and utterly ridiculous. Saluda Broad is right.

I know most South Carolinians are like me and care about conserving our natural resources. I hope Congress will authorize full funding of the Land and Water Conservation Fund that has been a bedrock of conservation for many years. All 46 counties have benefited from the program. As family farms and forests in our fast-growing state are being gobbled up for development, now is the time to set-aside land for outdoor recreation and open space and to provide facilities for ball games, walking, biking, fishing, hunting, wildlife watching, and other pursuits.
