Former director of the Lexington County Commission of Registration and Elections Dean Crepes has retired.

Mary Brack is serving as acting director.

Brack has been with the commission for 7 years as manager. She was responsible for handling the election database on all electronic voting machines.

Crepes has joined the Registration and Elections Board of Trustees. Other members of the board are Jerry McCormick, Chairman, Constance Flemming, Vice Chairman, Frenche Brewer, Secretary, Freddie Black, James Ross Snell, Wyman Merchant, Wilfred Laintz and Leonard Taylor.
