New poetry book from local publisher

Chapin-based publishing company Muddy Ford Press has released a Columbia poet’s1st book.
The book, An Eclipse and a Butcher by Ann-Chadwell Humphries, was edited by Columbia poet laureate Ed Madden.
A virtual launch event for the book will be Sunday, Nov. 22, at 4 pm.
Publishers Dr. Robert Jolley and Cindi Boiter said SC poets laureate are invited to work independently with a poet of their choice who has not yet had a book of poetry published.
