Walmart of Batesburg-Leesville has officially opened its pickup service! Now, you can place an order online, and then pick it up in-store when you have time. The grand opening of the service was a huge hit, and the Town wants to thank the BLMS band for playing at the ceremony.

The Town of Batesburg-Leesville is spraying for mosquitoes this summer. The Town began spraying June 5 and will continue periodically throughout the season. Contact Town Hall to receive spray notifications

The second annual

Lexington County School District Three Tech Up Celebration was held May 24 at B-L Elementary School. The event honored staff members who had worked to earn Tech Up Digital Badges throughout the year. Attendees enjoyed snacks and gifts from business sponsors, including Amber Bouknight, Boutique 527, Derrick Plumbing, Flipgrid, HS Salon Studio, John Grey Florist, John Sowash Ventures, Kay Jewelers, Shealy’s BBQ, Wallpaper Pros, and Wiz’s Eatery. A special thanks to Beth Derrick and Judy Fox for donating cakes for the celebration.
