New traffic stop at Fish Hatchery

Posted

Drivers should pay extra attention when crossing Fish Hatchery at Busbee Road.

The SC Department of Transportation has installed an “All Way” stop at the intersection.

The new traffic pattern is part of SCDOT’s plan to install a traffic circle at that intersection.

The all-way stop will be in place until the traffic circle is completed. Construction is estimated to be completed by late summer of 2021.

The project is funded by the state gas tax.

Drivers should use extra caution around construction zones to keep workers and other motorists safe.
