Lexington – Olin Bar Harvird, 84, services were held November 2, 2020, at Red Bank Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Red Bank Baptist Church Men’s Ministry. Honorary Pallbearers were the Men’s Ministry. Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mr. Havird passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was born August 16, 1936 in Columbia, SC to the late Heyward and Vera Strickland Havird.
He retired from the S.C. Army National Guard after 43 years of service. Mr. Havird was an active member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 60 years where he served on the Men’s Minis
try, helped Awaneas, and always provided hayrides for church activities.
Mr. Havird is survived by sons, Tim and Jeff (Porcia) Havird; daughter, Mandy Corley (Rick); grandchildren, Kayla Arave (Cody), Chet Trotter, Jeffery Havird, Amanda, Nathan and Natalie Corley; and great-grandchildren, Liam and Madison Arave, and Lilly Trotter.
