Opening a cooling center in Lexington County?

Amid the South Carolina summer temperatures reaching the 90s in recent days, Lexington County is seeking churches and community centers in the area that have plans to open a cooling center.
Cooling centers provide relief from the summer heat and the county’s emergency management team wants organizations who are acting as cooling centers or who plan to act as cooling centers to let the county know.
