Gray Collegiate's football season concluded last week with a 55-14 blowout loss to South Florence in the 4A Lower State Championship game.

The War Eagles had a nice run in their first venture in the 4A playoffs, but fell short of reaching the title game after losing to the defending state champions.  South Florence earned its fourth straight trip to championship weekend and will be seeking its third title in that span.

Gray Collegiate's season ends with an overall record of  (11-3). The team finished undefeated in the region, (7-0), capturing first place just one year after having to forfeit an entire season's worth of wins.

The team now begins its offseason, eyeing another deep run in 2026.
