Do you remember Deluxe Cleaners in, West Columbia?

Margaret Causey is the owner of Old Mill Antique Mall. Her mother bought the building at 310 State St. more than 36 years ago. Upstairs in the office of the building, photos were found of the building.

It used to be Deluxe Cleaners. Margaret said she thinks the cleaners was open from the 1940s to the late 1970s or early 80s.

Lots of photos of the cleaners and the people who worked there are in Old Mill Antiques. Margaret has them on display.

The photos, all black and white, were taken decades ago.

Springdale Police and Springdale Baptist Church are sponsoring a blood drive with the American Red Cross 2-7 pm, June 4, at Springdale Baptist Church.

The West Columbia Fire Department was on the scene of a vehicle collision on Sunset Blvd in West Columbia, at North Hook Ave. The crash occurred before noon, Thursday, May 21. The West Columbia Police, EMS and Lexington County Fire Services were also on the scene.

Motorists found an alternate route until the site was cleared.

LEXINGTON DISTRICT 2 personnel have been honored. Riverbank Elementary School recognized Angie Stock as Teacher of the Year. Melanie Thornton has been named Staff Member of the Year.
