WANT TO GET rid of some stuff and help out the White Knoll Timberwolves at the same time? Make plans to participate in the upcoming “Jockey Lot” flea market and vendor sale at White Knoll High School March 28, 8 am until noon. They’re accepting seller and vendor reservations now, so if you are a product vendor, or just have a bunch of stuff you’d like to get rid of, contact Jamie Organ at 803-553-4912 to secure your spot.

THE SEASON ENDED last week for Timberwolves varsity boys and girls basketball, both of whom bowed out with first round playoff losses. This week, the softball team competes in the Varsity Blues Invitational starting February 29, while the baseball team hosts the Red Bank Invitational beginning March 2. Adding to the busy sports season are the soccer and lacrosse teams, also in action this week. Go, Timberwolves!

THERE’S GREAT MUSICAL news from White Knoll High. Ekemini Umanah and Joshua Groscost, on violin and double bass respectively, have been selected for the All State Orchestra.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY THIS week to Jimmy Jordan, Ashley Jordan, Reese Allen, Owen Kyzer, Paul McKeever, Ann Ball, Freddie Barr, Kendra Hucks, Web Hulon, Kathleen Lloyd, Matthew Weathersby, John D. Sease, Rita Sox, Ken Drennon, Sharon Nobles, Kathy Lybrand, Tammy Baker, Mark Wilson, Brad Howell, and Amy Hudson.
