Community members gathered to celebrate the opening of the new Prisma Health Urgent Care, located at 2510 Augusta Rd. in West Columbia near the Walmart Supercenter and I-26.

According to a social media post, the new facility is designed to provide reliable health care for those in the community.

“This brand new, state of the art facility is officially open and ready to serve our community with accessible, quality care right when it’s needed most,” a Facebook post from the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber & Visitors Program read. “Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, network, and give a warm Chamber welcome to Prisma Health Urgent Care!”
