Another year has come and gone. It has flown by (excuse the pun). The Quail was blessed with several memories and challenges but has made it through the year.

Several of the best memories have been meeting new folks. From Gaston to Pelion, Swansea, North and Wagener, the Quail has had memorable experiences and fun. From having to deal with covid-19 and requirements forced on us.

Memories that stand out are the Wagener War Eagles again proving how good a football team they field each year. Coach Willie Fox and his team should be proud of the way they handled this unusual year. Also, the Pelion Panthers for winning their conference and going to the playoffs. The Swansea Tigers had a tough year while dealing with injuries and a shortened season but they will be back in 2021.

Other memories include visiting The Hen House, helping feed the needy at Thanksgiving and Christmas and learning about Avalo Cat Sanctuary in Wagener. The dedication of the people involved with all of these organizations is great. The Quails look forward to helping them in 2021.
