There is still time to register for the upcoming summer camp hosted by Lexington Girls Softball at the Nazareth Road park and ball fields. The dates are July 23-25 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. It is for ages 8 and up. There is a $25 fee, which includes a T-Shirt. Email Girlssoftball@lgssc.com or call 803-216-5245, or go to www.LGSSCcom. for more information and to register your child. While there, check out the information on signing up to play for the fall season.

Not a player, but a cheerleader? White Knoll’s Cheerleading program will hold its Tiny Wolves Cheer Clinic July 23-25 from 9 a.m. until noon daily in the White Knoll High School gym. It is open to ages 3 to 12. There is a $60 registration fee. The clinic has a Moana/Island theme this year and includes dance, cheer, and stunt training as well as crafts and more. Contact Lauren Gehr to register or for more information at lgehr@lexington1.net.

How much stuff do people in Red Bank have, anyway? Enough to support multiple mini-storage businesses, it appears. In addition to the two properties on Highway 6 that have opened in just the past couple of years, there is now another small batch of units going up at the corner of Old Barnwell and Old Orangeburg Roads. Maybe the units are needed since a lot of new homes are being built with very small closets.

Happy birthday this week to Annette Jordan, Pam Gunter, Gabriel Keisler, Lillian Freeman, Weston Faircloth, Josh Crolley, Janet Powell, Shey Kyzer, Suzy Bolick, Jean Scheppmann, Michelle Chapman, Logan Smith, John Coxe, Jessie Jeffcoat, and Ron Liljegren.

Happy Anniversary this week to Dennis and Kim Gore.
