Let us fly our stars and stripes high this weekend to honor those who paid the ultimate price. Thank veterans for their service. We cannot be free without our armed forces.

I admire and appreciate everyone who has served. Thank you all families who support husbands, wives, parents and siblings who sacrifice so much for us today.

How is your quest to find toilet paper going? I found a large pack of premium strength, super soft, hypollergenic and unscented toilet paper for $12. I was overjoyed. This highly prized item was displayed proudly on my counter.

We can now go out and visit the zoo, our museums and amusement parks and dine inside restaurants. Life is good. Registration is now open for summer basketball, baseball, and soccer. For registration, go to icrc. net. Safari Day Camps are now open for registration. You can now rent kayaks and tubes at Saluda Shoals. Check out rates. Call 803-772-1228.

Gyms are now open and the Irmo-Chapin Recreation Centers have reopened indoor fitness rooms and indoor walking tracks with a limited capacity.

I have to confess, I have a library book that is 3 months overdue. The Lexington County libraries have curbside pick up service for requested items. Visit the library website and use your card to request a hold or make a phone call for your books. The library willyou know when to get your book.
