River Bluff, Pelion Crack Top 10 in S.C. Prep Football Media Poll

Unbeatens River Bluff and Pelion have cracked the Top 10 of its respective S.C. Prep Football Media rankings.

Both the Gators and Panthers are ranked 10th in Classes 5A and 2A, respectively. Dutch Fork remained the unanimous choice in Class 5A, while Gray Collegiate fell out of the Top 10 in Class 2A.

Irmo also dropped out of the top 10 in Class 4A following its 49-7 loss to River Bluff. It was without the services of quarterback Aaron Brand who hopes to return for the Sept. 16 home game against Hartsville.

Both Lexington and White Knoll received votes in Class 5A, while Gilbert remained at number six in Class 3A. Brookland-Cayce also received votes.
