LMC has created an emergency department at the West Columbia hospital for people who come to the ER with respiratory symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath--symptoms related to the coronavirus.

Patients will be screened in a designated tent area outside of the entrance. The hospital is handling the possible coronavirusrelated cases separately out of an abundance of caution. The hospital has treated patients who tested positive for the virus.

THE CAYCE-WEST COLUMBIA Dixie Youth Baseball League is suspending all games until April 4 due to Covid-19. League officials sent out a message via social media last week. The league will keep you posted on updates going forward.
