Riverwalk to get 23 more parking spaces

Alexander Road, near the entrance to Riverwalk in West Columbia, is taking on a different look.
“We’re adding 23 additional paved parking spaces on Alexander Road,” said West Columbia Mayor Tem Miles.
A sidewalk extending down the street along the area of the parking spaces, will also be added.
Crews were on site Monday to address drainage issues on Carpenter Street, as a part of the other improvements to the area. It’s a City of West Columbia project.
