Senator, Irmo mayor confirm covid-19

Sen. Katrina Shealy and Irmo Mayor Barry Walker along with their spouses have tested positive for covid-19.
Sen. Shealy told the Chronicle she and her husband Jimmy are both experiencing unpleasant effects.
Shealy was at the State House last week, but she and her husband are quaranteening themselves at home now.
Barry and Susan Walker say they expect a full recovery.
“Please wear your masks in public to protect yourself and others,” Walker said.
