The Shepherd’s Center of Lexington recently held a costume contest. Here are the winners:
Bea-Witched; Kathleen Biron-Brooks won first place, Bag Lady; Judy Bailey won second place and Pirate; Lee Bailey won third place.
The center welcomes individuals 55 and older to connect, learn, grow and serve together. Participants can make new friends, learn new skills, volunteer and more.
“The Shepherd’s Center of Lexington has the conviction that life is not over at retirement but opens a door to a new chapter of life,” according to sclex.org. “We are an all-volunteer organization! We rely on our members to keep our sessions going. There are many places our volunteers help--food, teaching, welcome tables, set up, clean up and bus pick up. We are thankful for each and every one!”
