Spectrum to Host Virtual West Columbia Hiring Event

Posted

Less than a month after announcing it would bring 350 new sales and management positions to its West Columbia call center by the end of the year, Spectrum is hosting a virtual hiring event to help fill those positions.

It takes place Monday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and can be accessed at jobs.spectrum.com and entering 306551BR in the keywords search box.

The hiring event is seeking inbound sales representatives, who will handle calls from current and potential customers calling about internet, mobile TV and voice services across Spectrum’s 41-state service area.

“These full-time, growth-opportunity roles offer a variety of shifts and highly competitive base pay, with lucrative commissions and incentive opportunities,” a Spectrum news release states. “Representatives who reach their targets earn more than $55,000 annually on average, with top performers earning $80,000 or more.”

According to Spectrum, the new jobs expand its existing workforce of more than 1,000 in West Columbia, which work out of a campus on Platt Springs Road near the Airport Campus of Midlands Technical College. The company says it has invested more than $2 million to upgrade the call center.
