The American Legion will sponsor Family Night with the Columbia Fireflies May 23. All seats are $10 each. Each ticket purchase will receive a free Fireflies hat. Fireflies lapel pins will be available for purchase at $3.50 each. Food vouchers are available for purchase at $5 and will consist of a hot dog, chips, and soda. The Legion Riders will kick off the game with a parade on the field before the anthem. To purchase tickets, contact Nick Spano at 803-888-3002.

Mark Memorial Day, May 25 at 10 am, on your calendar to attend the annual Memorial Day service at the Pelion Ruritan Veterans Memorial. Musicians and speakers are being lined up and more will be announced closer to the day.

Pelion Library will host Tween Extreme March 3 at 3:30 pm for grades 4-7. Topic will be Smart Pendulums. Put your engineering skills to the test and build a pendulum using materials provided.

Technology training will be March 4 at 10 am for ages 18 and up. Registration is required.
