Springdale is offering an opportunity to get outside this summer.

Planning is in full swing for the Springdale Summer-fest and Golf Cart Parade, said Springdale Mayor Michael Bishop.

It is scheduled for June 29, and includes food, entertainment and activities. It will be in the centrally located Springdale Park.

Registration for the Golf Cart Parade is now open. Mayor Bishop reminds those who want to participate to register at Town Hall before all the spots are taken.

“There is a summer theme for the Golf Cart Parade. We expect this event to be a big hit and we hope to have a great turn-out! Everyone is invited and entry is free,” Mayor Bishop said.
