St. James Lutheran Church will hold Vacation Bible School next week, starting June 15 at 6:30 nightly. The theme is “ROAR! Life Is Wild, God Is Good.” Light snacks will be provided. St. James Lutheran is at 1358 South Lake Dr. Call the church at 359-2122 for information.

Do you know a family or individual who may be struggling to make ends meet, or put food on the table during the summer while the kids are home every day? St. James Lutheran offers a Food Pantry monthly that is open to the community. For July it is on the 16th, 10-11 am. Call 359-2122 for information.

Red Bank United Methodist is in search of a new administrative assistant for the church. The 20-hour-a-week position requires basic computer knowledge, typing ability and some experience in an office environment. Contact the church at 359-4031 for more information.

Summer is when

schools do routine maintenance and some big jobs that just can’t get done while hundreds of students are roaming the halls. White Knoll High School took on one of those big jobs recently, replacing all of the carpet throughout the school with new, commercial grade carpeting.
