The Lexington County Museum family day and Spring open house was Sunday. The museum tour began at the Hazelius house built in 1834. It was the home of the Rev. Ernst Hazelius when the seminary was in Lexington. By 3 p.m. nearly 200 people had arrived for a bit of history. Museum workers baked bread in an outdoor oven and made baskets at the loom house. Docents prepared a 19th Century meal in the Fox house kitchen. More photos on page A4.
