Friday — April 7

Egg-cessible Egg Hunt
Saluda Shoals Park East (6071 St. Andrews Rd. in Columbia) hosts an Egg-cessible Egg Hunt. This Easter egg hunt is for people of all ages with mental and/or physical disabilities. Participants will need to bring their own basket to collect eggs. The hunt begins at 6 p.m. and is free to attend, though registration is required. Spring Gallery Show
Rob Shaw Gallery (324 State St. in West Columbia) hosts a reception for its month-long show featuring works by Blue Sky, Rebecca Horne, Rob Shaw, George Stone, and Tianova. The event goes from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Visit facebook.com/robshawgallery for more info.

Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats (concert)

Nick Chandler & Delivered (concert)

Sadie Bass (concert)

Saturday — April 8

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
Head over to Clinton Sease Farm (382 Olde Farm Rd.) for a children’s Easter egg hunt. Your ticket includes the egg hunt, a wagon ride, a cow train, bubble mania, playgrounds and obstacle courses, a photo op with the Easter bunny and more. Peep-A-Palooza
Irmo Church of God hosts Peep-A-Palooza at Irmo Community Park (7507 Eastview Dr.). The event, which is free to attend, starts at 10 a.m. and promises fun, games prizes and a big egg hunt. Civil Remedy (concert)
Lexington country-rock band Civil Remedy plays at Wings N’ Ale (154 Ellis Ave.). The band performs starting at 8 p.m., and the show is free to attend. Visit wingsnaleoflexington.com for more information.

Marcus Adams (concert)
Saxophonist Marcus Adams and Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St. in West Columbia) present “A Night of Sax & Smooth Soul.” Expect to hear hits and classics by Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Bill Withers and Earth, Wind & Fire, along with Adams’ own chart-topping originals. Easter at the Ballpark
The Lexington County Blowfish and Lexington Baptist Church team up once again for outdoor Easter at the Ballpark services at 9 and 11 a.m., with space for thousands. More information can be found at lexingtonbaptist.org/easter.

Monday — April 10

Lexington Police Golf Tournament
Golden Hills Golf & Country Club (100 Scotland Dr.) hosts the annual Lexington Police Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will be given to the Lexington Police Department Foundation, which supports officers and community focused programs. Wednesday — April 12

Escuela Grind (concert)
Hardcore metal band Escuela Grind performs at New Brookland Tavern (122 State St. in West Columbia). The band delivers “politically charged lyrics inspired by modern anxieties, unrest, and the roots of hardcore.” It’s joined at this show by Bonginator, Bathe and Slugcrust. Thursday — April 13

Midlands Plant and Flower Sale
Head over to the State Farmers Market (3483 Charleston Hwy.) for the Midlands Plant & Flower Sale. Shop for spring plants and flowers, gardening equipment, décor, seasonal produce and more. The sale runs from April 13 to 16 and is free to attend. Visit agriculture.sc.gov for more information.

Hijacked (concert)
The Lexington Live concert series rolls on at Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) with a performance by Hijacked, a high-energy ‘80s cover band that strives to recreate your favorite music from that time as accurately as possible. Colton Beasley Duo (concert)

Katt Williams (comedy)
R-rated standup comedian and actor Katt Williams visits the Colonial Life Arena (801 Lincoln St. in Columbia) on April as part of the 2023 & Me tour. Showtime is 8 p.m., and tickets cost between $62 and $253. Visit coloniallifearena.com for more information.

2023 Spring Plant Sale
Looking to spruce up your garden for spring? Visit the lush gardens of the Hampton-Preston Mansion (1615 Blanding St. in Columbia) for the 2023 Spring Plant Sale on April 7: “One of two plant sales Historic Columbia holds every year; attendees will be able to purchase and learn about a wide array of plants propagated from the Living Collections across all of our historic sites. From herbaceous plants and woody perennials to evergreen plants, all of the selections that will be offered are integral to the stories we tell on our sites, and most are either rare or not offered elsewhere.” The sale will run from 3 to 6 p.m. and is free to attend. Family Flow Yoga
Head over to the Columbia Museum of Art (1515 Main St.) April 8 for Family Flow Yoga. This family-friendly yoga session is taught by Panna Chauhan of Buddha Belly Kids, a kid-friendly yoga organization that teaches mindfulness and foundational healthy yoga habits. Mats and props provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own. Appropriate for all skill levels, and for ages 5 and up. The Market at Richland Library (1431 Assembly St. in Columbia) returns on April 12. You’ll find farmers, bakers, artists, creators and local authors all in one place.
