Tokyo Joe (concert)
Tokyo Joe, one of the Midlands’ most popular and long-standing bar bands, returns to the Icehouse Amphitheater for the final free concert in the spring season of the Lexington Live series. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. For more info, head to icehouseamphitheater.com.

“It’s Good to Be Bad Revue”
Bella Desire Creative Conservatory presents the “It’s Good to be Bad Revue” at Alegria Bellydance Studio (1125 B Ave.)., which promises to feature “all of your favorite good to be bad songs, on Friday and Saturday. “It’s NOT your mama’s G-rated show,” the poster assures. Evening shows start at 7:30 p.m. each night, in addition to a Saturday matinee at 3:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15. Find more info at belladesirecreative.com.

Clayton Shay (concert)

Game On: Canasta
Jon the Cayce Branch Library (1500 Augusta Rd.) for a morning of fun and games with Game On: Canasta. Canasta is a card game in the rummy family. The High Tides (concert)

Pinehill Ramblers (concert)
If you’re a fan of bluegrass music, head over to Bill’s Music Shop & Pickin’ Parlor (710 Meeting St. in West Columbia) for a performance by the Pinehill Ramblers. Yacht Rock Revue (concert)

Meeting Street Artisan Market
Head to the Interactive Art Park (425 Meeting St.) for the Meeting Street Artisan Market. The market includes vendors selling original art, crafts, foods and produce. Support local vendors, interact with the unique sculptures throughout the park, and then head to State and Meeting Streets and Court Avenue to continue shopping and dining. Phil Urban (concert)
The final Rhythm On The River concert of May at the West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater (109 Alexander Rd.) promises to be a fun one. The free concert features Phil Urban doing an Elvis tribute and variety show, with Elizabeth Urban opening the evening. Showtime is 6 p.m., and admission is free. Celestial Stars 23rd Annual Revue (recital)
The Celestial Stars Arts Academy hosts their 23rd annual revue at the Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College St. in Irmo). With each revue, the students and company members are able to show their progress from the year in technique and performance with styles in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop and creative movement. Woodstock
Visit Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St.) and go back to the late ‘60s for its Woodstock celebration. There will be musical performances by Prettier Than Matt, The Albatross and more, along with live tie-dying, arts and crafts and the best local brews. Beverly Crowder & Company (concert)
Head to Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St. in West Columbia) for “An Evening of Songs,” a performance by vocalist Beverly Crowder and her band. They will play hits by Jill Scott, Roberta Flack, Lauryn Hill, Oleta Adams, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Toni Braxton and more. Showtime is 8 p.m., and tickets are $25. Lake Murry VFW Post 6740 Memorial Day Ceremony
This annual observance of Memorial Day begins at 10 a.m. at the post (950 Rock ‘n Creek Rd. in Leesville). “The event promises to be a solumn, patriotic experience in memory of all American heroes who have sacrificed their lives in service to our contur,” according to a press release. Saliva (concert)

Paddle & Pint
Enjoy an evening on the river at Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd. in Columbia) with the Paddle & Pint event on May 27. Paddle the Lower Saluda River surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. After an hour on the water, sample delicious craft beers. Trip is dependent on weather and river levels. Shaun Jones (comedy)
Join standup comedian and actor Shaun Jones at the Comedy House (2768 Decker Blvd. in Columbia) for an evening of laughs. Jones has been touring nationally for two decades and has appeared on TV shows (like “The Mo’Nique Show”) and in movies (like Sylvester Stallone’s “Shade”). Unpack the Porch

“Restoration: A Concert Film”
Join the Columbia Museum of Art (1515 Main St.) for a screening of “Restoration: A Concert Film” on June 2. Created by Lowcountry hip-hop duo Native Son in collaboration with Acres of Ancestry Initiative/ Black Agrarian Fund, “Restoration: A Concert Film” explores Southern Black agrarian stories of self-determination and land ownership, and weaves together live musical performances from Native Son and the personal narratives of Black legacy farmers and land stewards throughout the film.
