FRIDAY, MAY 30  

Interstellar Echoes: A Tribute to Pink Floyd (concert)

The Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) welcomes one of the South’s best tribute bands, Interstellar Echoes: A Tribute to Pink Floyd. Expect to hear Floyd hits and classics like “Money,” “Comfortably Numb,” “Wish You Were Here” and more, all delivered in note-perfect versions with a dazzling laser light show. Corks & Kayaks
Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd.) invites you to their “Corks & Kayaks” event. Enjoy a guided paddle along the scenic Saluda River and learn about the area’s natural beauty. After the paddle, unwind with a wine tasting featuring a selection of fine wines. As a special keepsake, participants receive a complimentary wine glass. Civil Remedy (concert)

Lexington County Ag + Art Festival
Horse Sense Tack & Feed (1407 S. Lake Dr.) hosts the 2025 Lexington County Ag + Art Festival. Shop for produce, meat and dairy from more than 40 local farmers, growers and vendors. Enjoy live music, bring the kids for free games and grab some grub from one of the food trucks on site. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend. The Market At Icehouse

The Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) hosts The Market At Icehouse. This is a farmer/grower and local artisan market that fosters a community-friendly atmosphere in which to promote, support and encourage local production. Come join your friends and learn about eating fresh produce, supporting local artists and the Certified SC program. The Market At Icehouse runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free to attend. Play That Band (concert)
Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St.) welcomes the popular group, Play That Band, for “A Night Of Soul Jazz Grooves.” Expect to hear funky hits and classics from smooth jazz to R&B, and some vocal magic from the Play That Band. Summer Reading Kickoff Party

The Batesburg-Leesville Branch Library (203 Armory St.) launches the Lexington County Library’s Summer Reading program with a Kickoff Party. Sunday Crawfish Boil 
Homeland Craft Beer & Wine (103 Main St.) invites you to their Sunday Crawfish Boil.  The rare, tasty one-night-only event comes courtesy of the South Carolina Crawfish Company, which will fire up the pots and serve out piled-high plates of their famous crawfish boil. Well Written: Write Club

Tokyo Joe (concert)

THURSDAY, JUNE 5

Carabosse and the Curse of Sleeping Beauty
Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College Blvd.) and The Palmetto Conservatory of Dance present a remarkable program called “Carabosse and the Curse of Sleeping Beauty.” This ballet is a classic tale of Princess Aurora, cursed by the dark fairy Carabosse, and her subsequent slumber until a prince breaks the spell. This performance features the students of Palmetto Conservatory, professional dancers from Palmetto Ballet Theatre and other guest artists, with choreography by Simone Cuttino. Fast-rising indie-rocker Colton Beasley performs at Carolina Ale House (277 Columbiana Dr.) on Friday, May 30. Beasley, a talented singer, songwriter and guitarist, performs a mix of covers and originals beginning at 6:30 p.m. and running until 9:30 p.m., including his newest single, the hard-rocking “Fairweather Friends.” This show is free to attend. New Brookland Tavern (632 Harden St.) invites you to a face-melting night of hardcore metal on Friday, May 30. Enjoy sets from local and regional metal bands Agonize, Skin You Alive, Backslide and Gnasher. Showtime is 7 p.m. and Savannah, Ga.’s Agonize headlines the show. The Senate (1022 Senate St.) hosts a unique event on Saturday, May 31. You might have played bingo before, but Bingo Loco is an entirely different game. Bingo Loco is a three-hour interactive stage show that features dance-offs, rave rounds, lip sync battles, throwback anthems, confetti showers and door prizes. Columbia jazz guitarist and bandleader Terence Young presents “The Icons Of Soul” at the Newberry Opera House (1201 McKibben St.) on Saturday, May 31. Young leads his band, The Terence Young Experience, through a set of classics by Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight, Frankie Beverly, Prince and more. Young has shared the stage with Babyface, Charlie Wilson and Roberta Flack, so he knows what classic soul should sound like. Showtime is 8 p.m. and tickets cost between $45 and $55. Bring the family to Ridge Spring Town Plaza on W. Main St. on Sunday, June 1, for the Ridge Spring Farmer’s Market. Local farmers gather to offer fresh produce, along with plants perfect for home gardens and landscaping.
