A Night Under the New Moon (ballet)
The Lexington Two Performing Arts Center (3205 Platt Springs Rd.) and the Palmetto Ballet Theatre invite you to an enchanting program called “A Night Under The New Moon – Forever Twilight.” Created by choreographer Simone Cuttino, this is a hauntingly beautiful ballet that blends gothic romance and heartbreaking drama. Resurrection: A Journey Tribute
The Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) welcomes Resurrection: A Journey Tribute to its Friday night concert stage. Get ready for an evening of classic Journey hits like “Separate Ways,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Open Arms” and of course the iconic “Don’t Stop Believin’,” all delivered in an energetic but precise manner with pitch-perfect Steve Perry-style vocals. Hall Of Horrors Haunted Attraction
Head over to 1153 Walter Price Road in Cayce, if you dare, for the Hall of Horrors Haunted Attraction. The ghost of Agnes Blackwell haunts the long-abandoned Blackwell family farm. Once beloved, Agnes was accused of witchcraft and put to death under an ancient oak. But her vengeful, restless spirit still haunts the Blackwell Family Farm. Columbia Winter Stamp & Postcard Show
Are you a philatelist? In other words, do you collect stamps? If so, the Columbia Philatelic Society invites you to the Tri-County Leisure Center (485 Brooks Ave.) for the Winter Stamp and Postcard Show. Vendors from all over the Southeast are on hand to assist you in your search for hard-to-find stamps and postcards, or to appraise collections. And there’s a special table where kids can learn about stamp collecting, too. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and both admission and parking are free. LeTron Brantley & Friends
Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St.) and bandleader LeTron Brantley invite you to enjoy “An Evening of Smooth Jazz Grooves.” LeTron and Friends perform hits and classics by Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Natalie Cole, Ronnie Laws and more, alongside timeless jazz standards. Deceased Farm Haunted Attraction
Get your Halloween thrills early as Clinton Sease Farm (382 Olde Farm Rd.) transforms into the spooky Deceased Farm. Go on a self-guided “haunt” through six different scary buildings, three outdoor zones and the Creepy Cornfields, all full of terrifying creatures seeking to harvest YOU. 2025 Corn Maze
After transforming from Deceased Farm back into Clinton Sease Farm (382 Olde Farm Rd.), you can bring the kids to the farm’s 2025 Corn Maze adventures. Enjoy finding your way through the maze, let the kids play on the playground, take on the obstacle course or hop on a wagon ride. Fall Fido Festival
Melvin Park (370 Eptings Camp Rd.) wants you and your furry friend front and center for the Fall Fido Festival. The most anticipated dog-friendly event of the year comes courtesy of Modern Companion dog groomers. It features photo ops, games, vendors, shopping, food trucks, adoptions, raffles, demonstrations and much more. This event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. and admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Lexington Lions Club 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
The Lexington Lions Club hosts their 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which kicks off at 9 a.m. at the Charwood Country Club (122 Clubhouse Dr.). This family-friendly and fun event exclusively benefits local charities, including Camp Leo and Midlands Special Needs, and after the 9 a.m. shotgun start, you can enjoy putting and closest-to-the-pin competitions, a golf ball-drop raffle, a boxed lunch and more. Nature Nook

Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (play)
The Chapin Theatre Company invites you to the Chapin Theatre (830 Columbia Ave.) for a wacky twist on the vivacious Vlad himself. In “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors,” five performers portray over 20 eccentric characters, turning the gothic legend into a chaotic, hilarious romp. Cottle Strawberry Farm (9560 Garners Ferry Rd.) hosts their annual Fall Fest on Friday, Oct. 10. The Fest doubles as the season kickoff for the brand new Cottle FunPark, which includes a corn maze, wagon rides, climbing wall, family games, photo ops and more. There’s also live music from local acts, a Farm Market with fresh food and pumpkins galore. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission costs between $14 and $16. The S.C. State Museum (310 Gervais St.) invites you to their Dark History tour on Friday, Oct. 10. On this creepy crawl through the museum, you’ll learn the true story of Columbia’s catacombs, mysterious tunnels that hid everything from politicians to Confederate gold. Hear Gullah folktales that will give you chills and learn about the path General Sherman took during his march through Columbia. Your kids’ favorite cops, PAW Patrol, are returning to Colonial Life Arena on Saturday, Oct. 11. The Incarnation Lutheran Church (3005 Devine St.) invites you to their annual Oktoberfest Columbia celebration on Sunday, Oct. 12.
