The Gilbert-Summit Branch Library invites parents to bring their children to Storytime in the Park. Every Thursday in September through Oct. 21 a weekly storytime will be held in the Gilbert Community Park at 10 am for children 18 months to 5 years. Children will enjoy hearing a book read to them.

Children love to play with LEGOs. The library invites parents to bring their children to their weekly LEGO club the 1st Wednesday of each month at 2:45 pm. The LEGO club will continue through Dec. 1.

HOPE WHITTLE Binkley says each Friday the Gilbert Blessings Boxes are stocked. Binkley says she is taking donations of nonperishable food. If you can’t get to the Blessing Boxes’ she will pick up your donations. No donation is too small. Check their Facebook page.

Gilbert Post 60 Scouts are selling popcorn in Gilbert and Lexington through October on the weekends at Keisler Store and Lowes Home Improvement.
