Take better care of yourself

Last week I went to the grocery store at 9 pm to get tortillas, ground beef, cheese and sour cream. I was so tired I forgot what tortillas were called and where to find them in the store. What do you do when your brain is exhausted?

During this strange year with toilet paper shortages, odd school schedules and masks, we just must take extra care of ourselves.

Rest, take your B vitamins, load up on anti-oxidants such as vitamin C.

Since I didn’t have an early morning appointment the next day, I slept d 10.5 hours and awoke refreshed. I did some housework, loaded up on vitamins, and felt great.

DID YOU KNOW there is a hand gesture to let others know when you are in an abusive relationship and silently asking for help?

The Canadian Women’s Foundation created a safe way to signal for help. Hold your hand toward someone, palm facing them. Next, fold your thumb in toward your palm and wrap your fingers over the thumb creating a fist type motion. This is the signal for help and want someone to check on you safely.
