But not just from work and school.
Sports parents say they appreciated the break from their children’s sports season.

Out of the South Carolina respondents, 87% were thankful for a break from stressful sports schedules.
It also found:
• 92% of American parents said they’re thankful for the bonds they have made with other parents and families through their kids’ sports involvement.
• 98% said they are thankful their family is able to afford to pay for their child’s sports involvement.
• 78% said they are more thankful for their washing machines than they are for carpools at 22%.
• Cell phones lead the way for technological devices sports parents are most thankful for (58%) followed by cars (26%), heating and air conditioning (9%), and clocks and watches (7%).
• 82% of sports parents are thankful for gaining a little more time for themselves when their kids are at practices and games.
