Amber Robinson of Lexington brought her son CJ, 5, to the 2nd Annual Bountiful Harvest at the Town of Lexington Municipal Complex Nov. 21. CJ struggles lifting 1 of the hundreds of frozen turkeys given out at the event while he waits in line for lunch with his mom. The event provided Midlands’ citizens with groceries, lunch and area outreach representatives to discuss services for those in need. “I think it’s awesome,” Robinson said. “It’s a great way to find resources in the community. ” Read more on page A7.
