After serving in the US Air Force, it sickened me to see how many positive reports came out about Karl Marx on the anniversary of his birthday May 5, 1818.
Over my life time the greatest enemy to freedom and to mankind has been communism and the countries that supported it.
Although Marx didn’t invent communism and its sister form of totalitarian governments called fascism and democratic socialism, he was a major influence.
Marx helped sell the idea in the writing of the Communist Manifesto. The communist system of government is estimated to have caused the deaths of over 149 million citizens either killed or starved to death.
The number does not include those killed because of war. When you add in the estimated 21,000,000 civilian deaths caused by fascist nations such as Nazi Germany, the total is 170 million.
You can find several different reference sources on line to research this information.
The Communist Manifesto is by far the most influential book on communist socialism. Although Marx did not directly kill anyone he is responsible for assisting in the expansion of a totalitarian government belief system that did.
Marx should be studied but we need to assure that the whole truth is presented.
Marx aided and abetted mass murder by advocating for a totalitarian form of socialism which we call communism.
