The Central Midlands Council of Governments held a public meetings on Nov. 14 in an attempt to gain public input regarding traffic congestion in the four Midlands area counties. It was at the Lexington County public library on Augusta Highway.
A handful of people attended the presentation where they saw maps of congested areas and were asked what was missing or how they thought improvements could be made. Kimley Horn, an engineering and design consultant firm out of Columbia, gave a presentation regarding ideas and sought public input.
If you didn't get to make it to the meeting, there is still opportunity to give input virtually.
