Cookin’ with THE CHRONICLE

This delicious pie is super easy and super fast. It’s about as simple as it can get. Since ovens can vary, just make sure you cook it long enough. You won’t regret it.

Japanese Fruit Pie

1 cup sugar ½ stick butter, melted ½ cup grated coconut 1 Tbsp. vinegar 2 eggs ½ cup raisins ½ cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 300º. Mix all ingredients together and pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake for 40 minutes to one hour depending on oven. See how simple that was?
