The South Carolina Military of the Purple Heart has designated Steve Padgett’s Honda of Lake Murray as a Purple Heart Business. State Commander, Carl Lopez, and several officers of the local order, made the presentation Feb. 28 to Dealer Principal Steve Padgett in recognition of the company’s commitment to supporting the Purple Heart and Veteran community in the Greater Columbia area. The Military Order of the Purple Heart is a Congressionally-chartered charity of military men and women who received the Purple Heart Medal for wounds suffered in combat.
