Happy Thanksgiving to all in Red Bank. Here’s hoping you get some quality family time this weekend and then some quality shopping time.
As you shop, be aware that several businesses are collecting for various charities; the Dollar General stores for Toys For Tots or Mission Lexington toy drives, for example. ‘Tis the season to be giving to others isn’t it?
If your organization or church has any Christmas or holiday events coming up in Red Bank, let me know and I’ll pass that info along to my readers.
Coming up on Sunday, December 9 at 6:30 pm is the annual Christmas At Red Bank concert featuring a dozen or more local musicians performing traditional and not-so-traditional songs of the season.
Thanks to the students and staff at Carolina Springs Middle School, which held a wonderful Veterans Day event Friday, November 9. Performing for veterans from the local community, the students presented songs, music, dance, and theater pieces under the guidance and direction of Band Director Roger Keane, Chorus Director David Nagelkirk, Orchestra Director Bonnie Pruitt, Musical Theatre Director Jennifer Simmons, and Dance Director Emily Snow. Also, thanks again to all our veterans who have served our country.
