On Sept. 27, the Lexington Chamber held their Fall Golf Classic at the Golden Hills Country Club in Lexington.

Foursomes from across Lexington came out to spend a day on the links, while networking and trying to claim bragging rights until next season.

Each hole had at least one sponsor, with some having two. Golf was the conduit that allowed for networking and some friendly competition.

After some heavy storms rolled through the night before, the Golden Hills course was ready to go as the sun rose over Lexington County last Thursday morning. The event began at 9:30 a.m. with over 15 groups making their way through the course.

After roughly four hours of golf, the participants gathered back at the clubhouse to enjoy a meal together and take a well-deserved break from the humidity.

The four winners from the day were Keith Costello, Kevin Wood, Mike Collins, and Terry Prosser. The Lexington Chamber of Commerce and their calendar of events are available online at www.lexingtonsc.org
